Student Password Reset/Help

We understand the difficulty when you are at home with your child and are unable to access her/his digital resources because of a forgotten password.

Our technology department developed a portal where you are able to reset your child's password.
Requirements/Steps for successful password reset are:

  1. Your cell phone number is in ParentConnection and you are the student's parent/guardian.
If you don't have your cell phone listed in our system or need to change it, follow these instructions.
  2. You know your student's ID number.
  3. Click here for student password reset
  4. Use the above site to reset the student's password and once completed, the student can navigate to clever.cusd.com to verify the password is working.  Please note, once the password reset process is started, it must be completed within 15 minutes and if that cannot be done, the process cannot be started again until the previous session expires.

Please note, Global Protect should have been removed from District Chromebooks. If you have a district Chromebook and it still has Global Protect, be sure to login to the device so it can update the policy.
Global Protect is the VPN software to connect the device back to the District network.

You can follow the instructions in the video below to change your student's password.  This will change the password to whatever you enter (as long as it meets password requirements), and it does not need to be changed for one year from the last time it was changed.
