Safety, energy efficiency and technology upgrades for ALL schools.
Modernization and repairs to aging schools.
Completion of our new high school to ease overcrowding.

Our Mission

Campus Catering’s goal is to “Provide quality nutritional programs promoting healthy bodies.” Campus Catering serves over 5 million meals per school year. Every school day, over 200 Campus Catering employees serve more than 30,000 nutritious meals.

Campus Catering strives to provide all Clovis Unified School District students, staff and parents with nutritious choices, professional service, a safe and sanitary environment, and an enjoyable dining experience.

Listening to our customers is a vital part of the Campus Catering Department. Taste tests and focus groups are conducted with students throughout the school year.

As part of Coordinated School Wellness, Campus Catering provides nutrition education and promotes physical activity for students, parents and staff. Work experience is also provided for California State University, Fresno dietetic interns.

In an effort to support our local economy, we work with local farmers and companies whenever possible.

No-Cost Meals 2024-2025

Clovis Unified School District will provide No-Cost Breakfast and Lunch to ALL students for the 2024-2025 SY. NO-COST MEAL APPLICATIONS will no longer be available for households. Clovis Unified School District will be CEP (Community Eligibility Provision) for the 2024-2025 SY.

Q: Are meals no-cost?

A: YES! No-cost meals are available for enrolled CUSD students under the statewide Universal Meals Program and Community Eligibility Provision Program (CEP). California's Universal Meals Program (Universal Meals) builds on the foundations of the federal National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP).

Q: Are you serving breakfast or lunch?

A: BOTH! A nutritionally adequate breakfast and lunch is provided to all CUSD students during each school day under the federal National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP).

Q: Can I get a meal if I am not enrolled in CUSD?

A: NO. Campus Catering will provide no-cost meals ONLY to CUSD enrolled students who attend in-person classes on a CUSD campus for the 2024-2025 school year.

Q: Do you have drive-through or grab and go meal pick-up?

A: NO. Campus Catering will no longer offer drive-through or grab and go meal pickup for the community.

Q: Do I need to complete a household meal application to qualify for no cost meals?

A: All Clovis Unified School District schools participate in the NSLP and SBP Federal Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. CEP schools are NOT collecting household meal applications but instead collect educational benefit survey.

Q: What is an educational benefit survey?

The purpose of the educational benefit survey is to identify that a student’s household meets the income eligibility criteria so that they may be included in the district’s unduplicated pupil count used to determine supplemental and concentration grants under Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). Educational benefit surveys were developed to be used for LCFF purposes in instances when schools do not need to collect meal applications (e.g., schools operating Community Eligibility Provision). The educational benefit survey does not impact your student's ability to obtain no cost meals for the school year.

Q: Are there other benefits for my family if I complete the educational benefit survey?

A: Yes! The completion of educational benefit surveys may bring significant additional funds to the school site, as well as qualify students for individual benefits such as college application waivers, Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) testing fee waivers, Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) benefits, and discounted high-speed internet as part of the Affordable Connectivity Program.

Q: I have special dietary needs. Can my school accommodate them?
