Mrs. Kim Harding

I am thrilled to begin my second year at Dudley Shoals Elementary.  I was born and raised in South Dakota, but moved to North Carolina in 2004.  I spent my first 15 years in North Carolina living in Mooresville and teaching at Third Creek Elementary in Statesville.  In 2019 I got married and moved to Granite Falls.  I started teaching for Caldwell County Schools to be closer to home.  I have taught everything from kindergarten to 5th grade and love them all.  My children (Lucas and Logan) are both grown and out of the house, but I still have 5 dogs and a cat to keep me company.  I also have 3 horses and a mule that keep me busy.  I am currently president of the Back Country Horsemen of Blue Ridge in North Carolina and spend a lot of weekends clearing trails or camping with the horses!  I look forward to working with your children this year!  If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate contacting me.
