Greetings students and families! 

I'm originally from New Bern, North Carolina, but have lived most of my life in the Charlotte area.  After living and teaching in Charlotte, my family decided to move to the beautiful foothills of Caldwell County in 2014.  I’ve worked in Caldwell County Schools as an 8th grade social studies teacher at Gamewell Middle School, an administrative intern at Dudley Shoals Elementary, and an assistant principal at Hudson Elementary.  My wife and I have two sons who also attend Caldwell County Schools.   I’m passionate about learning and look forward to serving our community as principal of DSES.  This is certainly a special school with a strong history of dedicated educators and supportive community members.  Please feel free to reach out if I can help you or your student this school year.
