My name is Sarah Beth Cooke and I am married to Shane. We have been married for 27 years. Shane and I both grew up in this area. We loved it so much that we chose to stay here and raise our family. We have three, beautiful daughters. They have been a wonderful blessing. Their names are Lauren, Lindsey and Lydia. They keep us very busy. Lauren graduated from Appalachain State Universtiy and is Middle School Science teacher. Lindsey is also pursuing an Elementary Education Degree from Appalachian. Lydia is a junior at South Caldwell. Our favorite thing to do is travel to different places together. We really love our vacations. I have been working at Dudley Shoals Elementary since 1995. I was a first grade assistant for three years while finishing up my teaching degree at Lenoir-Rhyne University. I taught Second grade for several years before moving to First Grade. I then moved to fifth grade teaching Language Arts and Social Studies. I recently moved to fourth grade.  I am back in first grade and I could not be more excited. I love teaching!! I feel that God chose this career path for me. I have a great time being with my students and watching them learn new and important things.
