Mrs. Adams has been teaching at Davenport Elementary School for 13 years. She has 25 years of teaching experience and has taught in Caldwell County, Burke County and Wayne County. Mrs. Adams has taught in grades Kindergarten, Second, Third and Fifth. She has a love of teaching science and includes STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) activities to make her lessons engaging. Mrs. Adams works with an afterschool STEAM club.

Mrs. Adams grew up in Abingdon, Virginia. She attended King University, a liberal arts school, in Bristol, TN. She majored in Elementary Education and Behavior Psychology. She has enjoyed 26 years of marriage and has two children.  Mrs. Adams has a love of animals, enjoys outdoor adventures and is currently renovating her home.
