BS in Agricultural Education & Minor in Animal Science
Mrs. Katie Cauthen Dulaney
Mrs. Dulaney was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, NC, and is a third generation farmer on her family's small Black Angus farm where she has started sheep and poultry enterprises of her own. Upon graduating from Mt. Pleasant High School, she went on to earn her degree in Agricultural Education from NC State University, with a Minor in Animal Science.
Mrs. Dulaney knew that she always wanted to call Mt. Pleasant home, and she jumped at the chance to begin her teaching career at MPHS. When she is away from the classroom, Mrs. Dulaney spends her time volunteering at her church or working with her local Grange chapter. Her hobbies include caring for her livestock and poultry, hunting, fishing, cooking, collecting antiques, and painting.
"I have a passion for animal agriculture! There is no other place I would rather be than working with young people to make the agriculture industry thrive!"
