I was born and raised in Concord, NC. I graduated from Cabarrus County Schools in 2003. After high school, I lived for two years in Argentina doing mission work and later attended college. In Argentina, I learned to understand and speak Spanish fluently and developed a love for teaching. In May of 2009, I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.A. in Spanish. I began teaching at MPHS in 2010 and I absolutely love it. I have been at MPHS since and I'm proud to be a Mount Pleasant Tiger!
