About Me:

Hi! I'm Mrs. Andrew. I've been teaching at Mount Pleasant since 2015, and this is my 14th year teaching high school visual arts.  I grew up in Charlotte, NC, and moved to Norwood, NC when I was 11. I graduated from South Stanly High School in 2003 and Wingate University in 2008.  I currently live in Albemarle with my husband, my 3-year-old daughter, and the worst guard dog ever.

Teaching Philosphy:

Art is a great way to trick people into applying science, math, history, and communication skills in a natural, tangible way. I aim to empower my students to find their voice and to be confident in their problem-solving abilities.
