Caitlyn Johnson

Hello! My name is Caitlyn Johnson and I am a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I had the amazing opportunity to work closely with staff and students through the Kids Plus program, as well as completing my student teaching at Weddington Hills! 

I grew up here in Concord and in Cabarrus County Schools, and couldn't imagine my career any other place!

I have always loved school and my love for teaching blossomed in college when I began the teacher education program. I had amazing opportunities to visit many schools and grade levels across two counties and really fell in love with teaching younger minds. I love teaching all subjects but my love for reading has allowed me to receive a minor in reading education. The fun, loving, and energetic students and environment really drew me into 1st Grade and I'm so excited to embark on this school year with you and your child!

When I am not teaching, I love to play with my dog Asher, craft, and travel. I also really love the outdoors and go on as many adventures as I can!
