If you would like to open up your options outside of NC here are some other options:
RDS

All students in the state of North Carolina must complete the Residency Determination Service (RDS) via www.cfnc.org. Every student must have a CFNC account in order to complete this. Students will not have to go straight to the RDS site to complete this as some college applications will have the link in the application. BUT it will still use the same login as the student has created in CFNC.
Transcript

To request a transcript or student record, go to: https://cabarrusnc.scriborder.com and click on the backpack.
Students can also send their transcripts electronically through www.cfnc.orgLog in to your CFNC accountClick on "Apply to College"
Click on "Application Hub"
Click on "Transcript Request"
Select all the NC schools you wish to send your transcript, and click "Send Transcript"Students can also send their transcripts electronically through www.sendedu.org if the specific college uses this site.

Essay Writing

Many 4 year Colleges will ask for a short or long Essay. These essays are a chance to show your personality! Make sure you are open and honest; tell a story that only YOU can tell. It is also a good idea to ask an English teacher to proofread you essay. Again, make sure to ask them at least 2 weeks in advance!

Letters of Recommendation

Many applications will ask for Letters of Recommendation. When asking a teacher, or counselor to write one for you, make sure that you ask them AT LEAST 2 weeks in advance.
