Mrs. Jessica Modesto

 

My name is Jessica Modesto and I am thrilled to be teaching first grade at Harrisburg Elementary. This is my 19th year teaching. I began my career in New York teaching middle school children with special needs. In 2006, I moved to North Carolina and began teaching fourth grade. After one year, I moved to first grade and have loved every minute. First graders are enthusiastic, inquisitive, and fun!

I am married with two daughters. My oldest daughter is in my sophomore year of high school and my younger daughter is in 7th grade middle school. They keep me young at heart.
