Welcome to fifth grade!  This is my nineth year at HES, and I am excited to be teaching fifth grade again. I am originally from Michigan.  I attended Central Michigan University and received a B.S. in Education with an emphasis in Mathematics.   After graduation, my husband and I moved to Texas, where I taught middle school for 14 years.  Later, a new job opportunity for my husband, and a desire to live in an area where we could experience all the seasons, brought us to North Carolina.  I feel fortunate to be teaching at such a wonderful school, and I look forward to working with each of my students and their families.
