Welcome
Hello, my name is Stacie Drye Park. I received my B.A. in Elementary Education from Catawba College in 2012. My teaching career began here at Mount Pleasant Elementary School and I am excited to be teaching 5th grade this year. This will be my second year in 5th grade. I completed my student teaching here in a 1st and 2nd grade combination class and previously taught 4th grade for nine years. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at Catawba College. It is an honor to be on the Teacher of the Year participant list here. I have also had the opportunity to complete the Teacher Leader’s Cohort, as well as the Gifted Local Endorsement of Educators (GLEE) course through Cabarrus County Schools.
I will be teaching Math and Social Studies on a team with Mrs. Carney Mrs. Carney teaches Reading and Science. We are a united team with high expectations regarding academics, organization, discipline, and communication. Our goal is to help your child strive for their personal best in all areas. I look forward to getting to know you and your student as we embark on an exciting adventure together.
