Miss Nicole Simmons

”Hello, my name is Nicole Simmons, and I am a proud mother of two sons aged 19 and 15.

I have over 18 years of experience in the school system, working with students from ages 4 through high school. 

In my most recent positions, I have served as a teacher’s assistant in classrooms for exceptional children. I have a passion and enjoy working with students that find it challenging to navigate the everyday classroom experience. I love creating the bonds necessary to ensure success and helping students find their “reason why” so that they can succeed.

I do what I do because I have always had a passion for working with children.

Children can be relatable. I love the feedback when I have a positive influence in their lives!

I have studied sociology and psychology at Cappella University, and I have a medical assistant certificate from King’s College. I also have taken various classes to ensure my success as a BMT, including Crisis Prevention Institute and Boys Town School-based intervention program.
