My name is Taylor Girouard, and I'm excited to introduce myself as one of the 8th grade ELA teachers for this year. I have been a part of the Indian Nation since 2018, when I began my career as an assistant teacher for kindergarten and special education at North Bay Elementary. In January of 2023, I moved to Biloxi Junior High, where I served as the 7th and 8th grade ELA tutor. I obtained my teaching license in August of 2022 after completing the MAT alternate route teaching program. I am an alumna of William Carey University, where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in English. To further my education, I am currently pursuing my Master's of Education at William Carey University. I am excited about bringing my experience and passion for teaching to the classroom, and I am looking forward to a great year!
