I am an 8th-grade resource teacher and the BJH Student Council Sponsor. 

I grew up in Bossier City, Louisiana. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. I'm also working on my Masters Degree at this time. This is my 10^th year teaching.  I have been married to Rusty for 30 years. 18 of those years were as a Navy wife.  We have one son, Drew who is 27 years old and is active duty with the Army National Guard. I love dogs. We have three. I love to craft, read, and Diet Coke.
