Welcome to the Biloxi Upper Elementary Art Studio Page. My name is Joe Fernandez and I have the privilege of being your child's art teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. I am a William Carey Fine Arts graduate with a 3-way split major in painting, drawing and sculpture. I also hold a degree in Drafting and Design Technology. I am a local artist and former soccer coach turned teacher. My teaching philosophy is simple. I believe inside every child is an artist. Student projects will encourage this belief and will be shaped through the creative process.
