My name is Ms. Atchison, and I am so excited to work with you and your child in Science this year! Out of any grade I've taught previously, fifth graders have by far been my favorite age group. :)

On a daily basis, your child utilizes Google Classroom for all of their in-class, online components. 

I recommend checking their Google Classroom on a weekly (if not nightly) basis to view what they've done for each class that week.

To get on to Google Classroom, all your child has to do is login to their school gmail account, click the waffle-icon in the top right corner and click on "google classroom." :)

We also have a great resource called Flocabulary. Flocabulary uses music and videos to help students better understand concepts in every subject. I am adding assignments as we go over topics in class, so please utilize this resource in order to review, as well as USA Test Prep. The more your child reads about and explores the topics of what we're doing in class, the better they are going to understand it.
