Mrs. Kelli Morrow
Welcome Indians to the 2023-2024 school year. I am so excited and honored about this being my fourth year as a Biloxi Upper Elementary team member and my twenty-first year of teaching. I graduated from MS State University with a Bachelor’s degree and earned my Graduate degree from the University of Southern MS. I am the wife of Anthony (Tony) Morrow and the proud mother of Bryson Brewer, who graduated from LSU and now lives in Tampa, FL.
During my years of teaching, I have had the pleasure of teaching various courses, including 10th – 12th grade Public Speaking, Oral Communication, and Broadcast Journalism. Nonetheless, my heart and passion have always been with those students that may experience a difficult time processing academic information. These students may only need differentiated teaching, extra reinforcement of their skills, or one-on-one assistance so that they can go on to graduate from high school and become successful individuals. For those reasons, I am a 6th-grade Inclusion and Resource teacher. I am assigned to co-teach with specific Math and ELA teachers at our school. My role is to make sure your students are successful in their studies. In addition to being in the general education class as an Inclusion teacher, I have a resource class. In this class, students receive one-on-one teaching in Math or ELA, guidance, and immediate feedback.
Please know that I chose to be an educator to inspire children to be their best person. I want to be an essential part of your child’s learning experience and reassure them that knowledge is power! Knowledge is also something that no one can ever take away from you! However, because there is such a great need for partnership between school, home, and our community, I need your help. I genuinely believe that if we ALL work as a team, we can grow the most magnificent children.
