I was born and raised in Hueytown, AL and graduated from Hueytown High School. I attended the University of Alabama where I was a member of the colorguard for the Million Dollar Band. I graduated with a BSED in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. After teaching elementary school for several years, I decided I want to add certification in Secondary Language Arts. I have been teaching English Language Arts at EHS since 2011. I currently teach AP Language and Composition. I hold a Master's Degree in Library Information Science and work as a part-time media specialist as well.
