My name is Blake Hudson. I am entering my 12th year as a professional educator, all in the Attalla City System. I graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2005 with my degree in Secondary Education. I earned my Masters and my Educational Specialist degree in educational administration from the University of Alabama. 

At Etowah High School, I have taught 9th, 10th, and 11th grade English--both regular and honors. I have also taught numerous remediation classes. I coached basketball for 10 years, both at the high school and middle school level. I am currently the head coach of both the indoor and outdoor Track and Field teams. We have two state champions in outdoor track. 

I am married to Chloe (Motes) Hudson, who teaches and coaches in Calhoun county. We have one son, Calvin.

I enjoy my job, and I look forward to another successful year of teaching and coaching at Etowah.
