Community Worker

Working with the EL Support Services office staff, the community worker provides information and resources to parents of immigrant and English Learner students. The community worker assists in a liaison capacity to contact departments within and outside of the district for necessary services based on individual or group needs.

211 RIDE Find transportation options in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. With nearly 40% of all 211 callers indicating not having a vehicle of their own, and the need to plan a trip cross-county lines, the Southern California 211 non-profits (211 Community Connect, 211 Inland Empire United Way, 211 Los Angeles and 211 Orange County) joined forces to create the 211RIDE Partnership. Lestonnac Free Clinic's vision is to expand the health care safety net to marginalized communities through collaboration and partnerships.

As one of the few remaining free clinics in the state, we are acutely aware of the shortage of affordable health care services and recognize that low-income and uninsured patients are often forced to make difficult choices between paying for medical care or using the money to pay for food, rent and other basic necessities.
