     The Book Nook    Here you will find some great reads for First Grade! Feel free to read these stories to or with your child. As the year continues you will find your child being able to read more and more to you! For now, encourage your child to read as many words as he or she can while you are reading a story! Also, remember to ask questions about the story while reading together! This will help to boost his or her reading comprehension! For an extra challenge have your son or daughter keep a reading journal where he or she can write about their thoughts on the book! Enjoy reading with your child!
