alt-text                                                                                    The students in my class work to achieve “Rockstar Behavior” at the end of each class. Our “Rockstar Behavior” refers to the class rules that students are aware of at the beginning of each quarter, as well as throughout the quarter when necessary. Our rules are posted clearly in the classroom. To achieve “Rockstar Behavior” students are expected to
                                 Be considerate of others
                                 Stay focused and engaged

                             Be thoughtful listeners

                             Take care of materials used

                             Always do their best work

Students are given a sticker chart that they keep in their reading folders. At the end of each class if the students have followed our class rules they earn a sticker to add to their chart. After they receive a certain amount of stickers they are able to earn a small reward. After a student’s sticker chart gets filled up, students will take it home and he/she will be given a new one and the process begins all over again.
