About Mrs. Pagan . . . 
Hello fabulous firsties! Are you excited about starting first grade in September? I sure am! We are going to learn so much and have lots of fun! First grade is the place to be! What are some of your favorite things to do? I love to go to the beach and swim! Some of my other hobbies include cooking, baking, exercising, reading and scrapbooking! I also love to spend time with my family and friends! This will be my eleventh year teaching and my sixth year teaching first grade! I've had a blast and I'm definitely looking forward to another fantastic year ahead! 
A Little More About Mrs. Pagan Education- I graduated from Pace University with my undergraduate degree in Education with a concentration in Language Acquisition. I went on to receive my Master's Degree also from Pace in Literacy. Teaching Experience- I started teaching in the Spackenkill School District when I graduated college. I taught 1st grade for the first half of the year and 2nd grade for the second half of the year (both leave replacements). I then accepted a Reading Specialist position at Frank G. Lindsey Elementary School for one year in the Hendrick Hudson School District (also a leave replacement position). After this I came to Red Hook in 2008 and have been here ever since! I was awarded tenure in May of 2011. Here in Red Hook I've taught 5th grade for two years, 2nd grade for one year and this will be my sixth year teaching 1st grade! My years in teaching have been extremely rewarding and a lot of fun too! I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year!
