Elementary Character Education Assembly: October 29, 2021.

At PCR-I Schools, we love celebrating our students and staff!
On Friday, October 29, 2021, we enjoyed hosting our monthly character education awards assembly in the elementary gym.
Mrs. Altiser led the assembly and our students and families joined in with the Pledge of Allegiance and the Character Education Pledge.
We then recognized our students who were nominated by their teachers for improving the most in math for the first quarter. Congratulations to all of our academic winners! Keep up the great work in math and all your other subjects.
Our academic award winners were: Abigail B, Thorsen C, Macon S, Calin C, Mason D, Roper F, Amaya MY, Gunner P, Tate S, Jadon S, and Brityn WG.

Many thanks to Hy-Vee for sponsoring our Character Education Awards and for donating the t-shirts for our drawing! Great reminders to BEE the One to make a difference for others by leading by example.

Congratulations to our community winner for self-control, nominated by his granddaughter Shanee, Mr. Jimmy Tipton!

Thank you so much to all of our Law Enforcement Officers who joined us this week for Red Ribbon Week! We appreciate all you do for our community and our schools, keeping us safe and informed. Today, we had the honor of having Trooper Kirk Hendershott visit our students and talk about keeping their one mind and their one body safe and healthy and staying away from drugs.
Thank you, Trooper Hendershott! He also handed out awards to our bright young artists who created outstanding posters for Red Ribbon Week, encouraging their peers to say no to drugs.

It's a great day to be a Midget! Have a wonderful weekend! Check out all our photos and videos on Facebook. Most of them are in the photo galleries.
