Our January Elementary Character Education Assembly took place on Friday, January 31, 2020. Today, instead of a sea of blue and white, many students and staff were dressed in KC Chiefs red. The assembly started with the Pledge of Allegiance and the Character Education Creed. Mrs. Altiser introduced the High School student of the month, Senior Daysha C, for exemplifying the character word of the month, gratefulness. Congratulations, Daysha!

Eli D nominated our community winner of the month, Jennifer Dorsey, for being so grateful for everything in her life. Thank you, Jennifer, for being a grateful member of our community.

Mrs. Altiser then recognized a group of 5th-grade boys who joined together for a birthday box project to collect birthday supplies for those who might not have what they need to celebrate. We live in a wonderful community and are so grateful for everyone who does their part to support our students, families, school, and community. Our assembly was concluded with a reminder to cheer for our Missouri team, the KC Chiefs, this Superbowl Sunday.
