Drive-Thru, Vault Tour, and Piggy Banks: PC Elementary Students Visit Putnam County State Bank.
On Friday, June 4, Putnam County elementary students enjoyed some fresh air and sunshine as they took a little field trip to Putnam County State Bank. Students toured the bank and investigated the vault. They learned that $100 in nickels is worth the same as a $100 bill. The students tried out the exchange tube in the drive-thru, and then enjoyed a snack and story. Four lucky students even won piggy banks! Shout out to Tawnya Fowler, Molly Knowles, and Abbie Wagner for showing our students around, spoiling them with snacks, coloring books, crayons, balloons, and pencils! It was a great day to be a Putnam County Summer School Student!
