First-Grade Students Write Non-fiction Texts
Launch the media gallery 1 playerFirst-grade students recently created non-fiction books about an animal of their choosing. After reading to learn about the animal, they used graphic organizers to help find good facts to include in their writing. They also created illustrations to match their text and a cover.
