Welcom to my class website.  My name is Christine Portillo.  I have been teaching for 17 years in all grade levels K-5.  This is my 10^th year teaching Kindergarten and 12^th year with the Mukilteo School District.   I attended San Diego State University to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and completed my Master’s degree in Elementary Education at Alliant International University in San Diego. I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, and playing or watching sports outdoors with my family.  My husband also works for the district at Mariner High School teaching Biology.  We have two boys Luke, age 15, and Ben, age 10.  They are extremely energetic and athletic, ensuring my husband and I stay active.  I am passionate about early education and look forward to being a partner in your child’s first year of learning!
