Hi!  I have been working with students kindergarten through fifth grade for the last 18 years.  I started my career teaching in a self – contained special education classroom at a non-public school in southern California.  Southern California is where I completed my B.A. in Psychology and then my M.A. in Special Education at Azusa Pacific University.  I then moved to Mukilteo and was blessed to be hired in the Mukilteo School District working at Odyssey Elementary full time with students in grades 2-5.  When Pathfinder opened 3 years ago, I was excited to be a part of this new team supporting kindergarten students all day.  After having my own kids, I reduced my work time from full time to my current schedule of two days a week and began working with students in the area of social/emotional/behavior.  I love seeing our students improve in their peer interactions and emotional self-regulation throughout the school year from September to June.  So much growth happens in this one year which makes kindergarten such a rewarding place to work.

When I am not working I love being with my family.  We love traveling to new places and staying active.
