I have been teaching for 15+ years in the Mukilteo School District, Kindergarten - 8th grade.  I began my career teaching kindergarten and 8th grade Spanish.  The majority of my career has been teaching K - 5 English as a Second Language.  Besides teaching, I enjoy coaching and mentoring teachers.  A few years ago I took a 3 year break from teaching students to coach and mentor teachers across the Mukilteo School District.  Currently, I am coaching teachers at Pathfinder as well as supporting students in the Ladybug pod.  I enjoy traveling and learning about other cultures around the world.  I have lived in Mexico and Spain for various years throughout my adult life.
