Virginia Moore grew up in Birmingham. She graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Math Education. She finished her Master's in High School Mathematics Education at UAB in 2018. Virginia received the National Certificate for STEM Teaching in 2022. Virginia's passion and love for math began when she was in sixth grade, and she loves trying to spark the same passion for her students. She is looking forward to her eleventh year teaching at Brookwood Forest Elementary! In her free time, she enjoys watching and playing tennis, baking, cheering on Auburn football, and visiting New York any chance she gets!
