This is my 18th year as an educator! I spent 16 years in the classroom teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade, and I've worked as an adjunct instructor for UAB's Curriculum & Instruction Department. Literacy and learning alongside others are important to me, and I'm excited to join those two things together as I continue my Literacy Coach journey at BWF.  

I am a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College and Lesley University. I am married to Doug. He is a Training Designer for Protective Life. Our sweet and spunky little girl, Brenley, is 10 years old and in fifth grade. Our family of 3 enjoys tailgating, RVing, reading books, going to yummy restaurants, and spending time with our family and friends. Look below to see a little of my life in photographs. :)
