    We use the word 'family' to describe our school.
    We are a culture of growth supported by the core beliefs of student engagement, relationships, and teachers as learners.
    We believe learning is transferable. 
    We are comprised of about 525 unique learners, kindergarten through sixth grade, who take pride in supporting each other's diversity.
    We have invested in creating flexible, collaborative spaces that reflect our beliefs about learning.
    We have roughly 65 faculty and staff members who support our students on a daily basis. Our staff includes teachers who are nationally board certified, published authors, and active leaders in learning organizations throughout the nation.
    We were chosen to participate in Learning Forward's Learning School Alliance, a collective of internationally select schools focused on best practices in professional learning.
    We partnered with Columbia University Teachers College to host a home-grown reading institute.
    We have been recognized both locally and nationally including the distinction of being named a Blue Ribbon School.
    We are fortunate to be supported by an active PTO that represents the relationship we share with the community at large.
