Mrs. Frey has been at Mountain Brook Elementary for seven years, and this is her tenth year in education. This is Mrs. Frey's first year as a school librarian! She loves to read and to instill a love of reading in others. She previously taught kindergarten, and she has fully enjoyed getting to teach all grades and every child this school year.

Mrs. Frey is originally from Jasper, Alabama where she graduated from Walker High School. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She also holds a Master's Degree in Library Media from Jacksonville State University.

In her spare time, Mrs. Frey loves to cook, read, do arts and crafts, shop, exercise, and spend time with friends and family. She and her husband, JR, have one wonderful little girl, Ruby (1), and one mischievous black lab, Moe.
