Patricia Shackleford
I am Patricia Shackelford, a Title Interventionist at Brown Elementary School. As an interventionist, I work with small groups of students in reading and math in kindergarten through 4th grade. This year will be my 32nd year teaching! I have been teaching at Brown for 21 of those years. I have taught 1st, 4th, and 5th grades. My husband and I have two children, a son and a daughter. During my free time I enjoy reading, hiking trails, and relaxing at the beach.

Jenny Sloan
Hello! I am Jenny Sloan, Title Interventionist at Joseph Brown Elementary. I am originally from Iowa where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Reading Endorsement from Briar Cliff University. I obtained my Master’s in Administration and Supervision from MTSU in May 2018. I have been teaching for 16 years with the last eight years being with Maury County Public Schools. My husband, James, is a graduate of Columbia Central and the University of Tennessee – Go Vols! We reside in Columbia with our daughter, Katherine, and our cat, Sassy. We love calling Muletown our home!

Stephen Richardson
I am the Title I Facilitator here at Joseph Brown. I received my Bachelors from MTSU in Elementary Education and my Masters from Trevecca University in Educational Leadership. I am entering my 14th year of education and my second here at Brown. I am married and have a 3-year-old son. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my son, reading, and playing sports.
We will be having many different event throughout the year. We hope your families are able to come and be a part of all these events! We can't wait to see you here!

Sarina Szablewski
My name is Sarina Szablewski. I have a Bachelor's degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. I have been working with Maury County Public Schools for 6 years. Here at Joseph Brown, I will be a Title I Assistant. I love working in the education system and look forward to this new school year. I enjoy being outside, photography, hunting and fishing with my husband, and the beach! We have lots of nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. We do not have any children so we enjoy spending time with all of them.
