The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) anticipates the U.S. Department of Education (USED) to require states to implement school accountability and school identification requirements for the 2022-2023 school year.

Kentucky's assessment and accountability systems provide information about how districts, schools, and the state are meeting the needs of Kentucky's diverse student population.
