We are proud to offer amazing educational opportunities for students living in and outside school district boundaries.
Students are selected each year by a random lottery. The 2023-24 application window is now closed. However, space may still be available in some programs.
Applications for the 2024-25 school year will open on November 1, 2023.

The application for the 2023-24 school year is now open! Applications will be accepted between November 1, 2022 and January 31, 2023.

Sign up for a language assessment (target language speakers only)
Step 2: Sign up for a language assessment (target language speakers only)
If your child speaks the target language of the program to which you are applying, make an appointment for your child to be assessed when you apply online. If this is not available through the application, a district representative will contact you. By passing the assessment, your child would qualify as a "target language proficient speaker" for the random student selection.

Following notification of admission to a dual language immersion program, a district-required enrollment packet must be completed and returned to the school within three weeks of receipt. Admission to the school is not confirmed until the enrollment packet is complete and approved by the school.

If coming to us from out-of-district, obtain a release and apply for an inter-district permit

On or after March 1, 2023, apply for a release from your district of residence and apply for an inter-district permit with GUSD at https://glendale.schoolmint.com. A permit must be obtained in order to enroll.
