Strands of learning provide a curricular focus for our students. Additionally, Clark offers eighteen Advanced Placement courses and enrichment periods for additional academic support, block scheduling, and a wide array of clubs to meet the varying academic and extra-curricular needs of our talented and multi-faceted students.
Emphasis of Studies

Math, Science, and Engineering
Core academic classes include high levels of math, physics, and engineering.

Technology Systems
Project-based elective courses with career emphasis in mechanical engineering design, robotics, manufacturing processes, product development, and computer-aided manufacturing.

Applied Technology
Project-based courses in cinematography, computer programming, computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD), and geographic information systems (GIS).

Digital Arts
Project-based elective courses in computer animation, graphic design, and digital photography.

All Clark applicants are required to reside within the boundaries of the Glendale Unified School District.Students are selected each year by a random lottery:
- The lottery window for the 2022-2023 school year is closed.
- Clark Magnet High School Application window for 2023-2024 will be January 8, 2023 - January 31, 2023. The application will open at 12:00 a.m. on January 8. The lottery drawing will be conducted on March 3, 2023.
- Only eligible applications submitted during the application window will be included in the 2023-2024 lottery. All late applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
