In order to help individuals in need of employment and employment opportunities, we wish to share the following information about the CareerOneStop websites, Job Search Help for Ex-Offenders, and the ReEntry site available for use inside correctional facilities.
The ReEntry Program Finder is now published and available at https://www.careeronestop.org/ReEntryProgramFinder. It lists programs in every state that specialize in helping people overcome the barriers caused by having a criminal record.
Users can search by City, State, or ZIP code, and will find program contact information, location, map, directions, and website links. The programs listed offer a variety of services including employment and training help, housing assistance, chemical dependency treatment referrals, mental health services, and other related services.
The ReEntry Program Finder is available for use by individuals, program staff, correctional facilities, and others who work with justice-involved citizens. If you’d like to offer the Finder to your customers, you may also place it on your own website as a widget by following the instructions on this page: https://www.careeronestop.org/Developers/WidgetsandLogos/reentry-program-finder-widget.aspx.
