Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Reese

I graduated Appalachian State University in 2018 and received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Shortly after, I added on and received my license for Special Education. I taught EC Resource K-5th for 4 years in Caldwell County. This is my first year teaching in a 4th Grade position and I am beyond excited to start this new journey.

Joel Edgerton once said, “Everything is a learning process: Any time you fall over, it’s just teaching you to stand up the next time.” I truly enjoy the quote because it shows that having a growth mindset is so important. I want my students know that it is okay to make a mistake and that we learn together. I had several role models in my life, especially my teachers that taught me when I attended Gamewell Elementary school as a student. My teachers taught me that all it takes is that one person that believes in you and shows you that you can do great things. I want my students to know that what they may think is impossible can be possible.

I have lived in Caldwell County my whole life and I really enjoy going to the Caldwell County Public Library.

As a child, my favorite memory would have to be going to the library over the summer with my mother and sister to pick out new books.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and family members. I love to go kayaking over the summer and roast marshmallows! If I have down time I love to cook and bake.
