I have been at Gamewell Elementary for twenty years now. I really enjoy teaching here and like working with the students here. I am teaching Reading and Social studies  in fifth grade this year.  History is by far my favorite subject and I enjoy seeing students get interested in what has happened in the past.  As for me personally I am a graduate of Appalachian State University and got my Masters Degree twelve years ago. I am married and have two  daughters.  I enjoy golf with my girls and old cars. I am a retired Scottish Games Heavy athlete and still travel the Southeast as a judge in the Highland Games.  In my spare time I enjoy wood working and building furniture.
