I am in my first year of teaching elementary education. I started off my career at Gamewell Elementary School as a fifth grade science teacher. This will be my first year in fourth grade and I am beyond excited for the new experience!

One of my favorite educational quotes is "The future of the world is in my classroom today" by Ivan Welton Fitzwater. I love this quote because it is incredibly true for every teacher and every classroom.

It is truly a blessing to be able to help shape young minds that will one day go on to change the world.Growing up I had many wonderful teachers! They all did so much to help me grow and succeed. I wanted to be a teacher so I could do the same and help future generations grow and succeed.

One of my favorite places in Caldwell County is the Happy Valley walking trail. I love going there to walk my dog and let her play in the creek!
