 I am the AP Government teacher at South Caldwell.  I also teach Civics and US History.  I have been teaching since 1994.  I graduated from Appalachian State in 1992 and received my master's degree from App in 2008.  I am also the club sponsor of Interact, a community-service club whose sole purpose to put "service above self."  We strive to help people and be part of projects that go beyond ourselves.

My wife, Carla, also teaches at South and also teaches history.  We live in Sawmills with our 3 children.  

When I am not teaching, I am running and/or hiking.  My wife and I also like to travel.  In 2014, I reached Oklahoma thus touching all 50 states.
