I am a graduate of South Caldwell and Appalachian State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary English Education. This is my thirteenth year in the classroom and my second year at SCHS.

I married my high-school sweetheart twenty-eight years ago and we have two children, ages 24 and 20. We also have the sweetest Goldendoodle puppy. In my spare time I enjoy reading, fishing with my husband, shopping, and traveling to Caribbean islands.
