My name is Emily Hewitt. I was raised and attended school right here in Caldwell County. I  graduated from Appalachian State University in May of 2017. I began teaching here at South in August of 2017. I have taught Communication Skills, Communication Skills Honors, English 1, English 1 Honors, English 2, and English 3. I have taught all of these subjects both fully in-person and online. I am married to a wonderful man, who also teaches English here at South Caldwell! We have a daughter named Eleanor. I enjoy spending time reading, baking, kayaking, drinking Sundrop, and spending time with family. I love being a Spartan! Let me know how I can serve you and your children.
