I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Ottawa University and a Master's Degree in Reading Education from Northern Arizona University. I am National Board Certified in Literacy since 2010. I started teaching in 2003 and have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. I have been at SES since 2006. In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, local travel, and caring for my home and animals. I am still in awe every day by the beauty in North Carolina.
