I am excited to share the First Grade journey with you and your child! I have been in education for about 12 years working with various ages all the way from Pre K to 4th grade. I love teaching first grade. I studied Elementary Education at Appalachian State University. I have a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and pride myself in refining my craft of teaching little ones. The most important thing I have learned as a parent and as a teacher is to remain calm, keep a sense of humor, and communicate keeping in mind we both will always have your child’s best interest at heart as a student and as an individual child.
